Lesson Objectives:

The lesson aims to discover prior knowledge and attitudes towards fruit and vegetables through processes of social investigation. Children will generate as many ideas as they can by labelling or describing personal experiences with fruit and veg in everyday life, sharing observations, comments and personal understandings.

Brainstorming Activity write fruit and veg names on board:
What vegetables can you name? Can you think of any big fruit? What about small fruit? What soft vegetables are there? Can you think of any red vegetables? Can of any green vegetables? What is the biggest vegetable you can think of? What is the smallest vegetable you can think of? What fruit do you like? What vegetables do you like?
