    The lesson aims to discover prior knowledge and attitudes towards fruit and vegetables through processes of social investigation.  Children will generate as many ideas as they can by labelling or describing personal experiences with fruit and veg in everyday life, sharing observations, comments and personal understandings.

    Collect portfolio evidence:

    Complete rating scale of individual’s discussion, observations and comments about fruit and veg.  Note likes, dislikes and questions that are generated during discussion.  

    Use this information to inform future lessons during Explore phase. Take photos of children moving through the learning centres as skills, competencies and ideas are demonstrated.
