Hello Song
Book - Growing Vegetable Soup!
Questions to ask: Where does a tomato grow? Does that look right? Do we eat vegetables from bushes? Does the story include vegetables from a bush? Like this? What does that tell us? What other fruit and veg grow on a bush? Do we eat vegetables from under the ground? What would it feel like to grow under the ground? Can you think of any vegetables that grow under the ground? Can you think of any fruit or vegies that grow on vines? What vegies do you eat that grow under the ground? What fruit do you eat that grow on trees? What did the story tell us? How can we use it in the class?
